Euforia – Alta Langa by Apeca Wines

Let’s talk about sparkling wines from Piedmont. Euforia is an Alta Langa produced by Apeca wines, a small winery that embodies the vocation of Piedmont in crafting high-quality sparkling wines.
A brut made from a cuvée of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir, grapes from a thirty-year-old vineyard whose vines grow on marl and limestone soil, which give the wine structure and sapidity, and which are cultivated with a low-impact approach on the delicate Langhe terroir.
Once bottled, the prise de mousse is triggered by the addition of dried must, after which the product ages on the lees for 24 months.
The color is intense straw yellow, the perlage is dense and elegant, and on the nose come delicate scents of white flowers but also of bread crust and candied citrus fruits.
On the palate, it is broad and harmonious, with a sip supported by acidity and minerality.
Excellent when paired with raw seafood, but also with white meats and delicate cheeses.
