Dragon di Vajra
Il Dragon di Vajra is an unconventional white wine, made from a blend that combines Riesling, Chardonnay, Nascetta, and a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. An unusual meeting, born on the hills of the Langhe, that tells the experimental soul and at the same time deep connection to the territory of the Vajra family.
In the glass it shows a bright straw yellow color.
On the nose, it opens with scents of white flowers, peach, citrus, and a slight herbal note.
But it's on the palate that it truly surprises: it has a fresh drinkability, a notable saline push, and a structure that makes it far from a simple white wine.
The Riesling gives tension and verticality, the Chardonnay gives body, the Nascetta adds aromatic complexity, and the Sauvignon, although in small part, brings a light but recognizable aromatic touch.
It’s a wine that plays on multiple levels: fresh yet deep, immediate, but never trivial.
Perfect with a cold pasta with seasonal vegetables and salted ricotta, to be enjoyed under the sun, when you feel like something refreshing, but also with a lot to tell.
